A Better Tent City has had a big year! After two moves in less than six months, residents are now establishing their community on the road allowance beside the expressway on Ardelt Place. The Kitchen Co-op continues to support A Better Tent City by storing food and helping to coordinate volunteers to cook with and for the residents. If you are interested in preparing food for the residents of ABTC please email abtc@waterlooregion.org. ABTC’s shared space and new kitchen will be operational early in the new year.
